How Many Devices Can Be Used at Once?

Estimated reading: 3 minutes

Yes — Apollo TV Group lets you stream on multiple devices simultaneously, and the exact number depends on your chosen package. This is one of our biggest value features: no hidden limits, no extra fees for family sharing, and full flexibility for homes across the US and Canada.

Here’s the clear breakdown by plan (all simultaneous streams allowed on any supported devices):

  • Starter Pack (3 Months): Up to 3 devices at the same time.
Perfect for individuals or small setups — e.g., one TV in the living room + phone + tablet.
  • Silver Pack (6 Months): Up to 5 devices at the same time.
Great for typical families — e.g., multiple TVs in different rooms + phones/laptops for everyone.
  • Platinum Pack (12 Months): Up to 10 devices at the same time.
Ideal for larger households or heavy users — watch on every screen in the house without compromise.
  • Golden Lifetime Pack: Unlimited simultaneous streams.
The ultimate freedom — stream on as many devices as you want, anywhere, anytime. No caps, no worries — perfect for big families, multiple homes, or sharing with extended family.

Key Rules That Make It Simple & Fair

  • Installations are unlimited — Load your Apollo credentials on as many devices as you own (phones, TVs, tablets, computers, Firesticks, etc.). Only active watching counts as a stream.
  • One network at a time (global rule) — All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi/network for the max streams. (Example: Family in California can watch on 5 TVs + phones at home on Wi-Fi = all good. But you can’t have home streams running + someone watching remotely at the exact same moment unless you turn off the home ones first.)
  • Multi-view / picture-in-picture counts each channel separately (e.g., 4 channels in split-screen on TiviMate = 4 streams used).
  • No geographical restrictions — Stream from anywhere in the US or Canada (home, vacation, work, etc.) as long as you have internet.
  • Quick fix for channel surfing — If you flip channels super fast, the system might temporarily think you’re on extra devices. Just pause 10–20 seconds — it auto-resets. No bans or lockouts.

Real-Life Examples (US/Canada Focus)

  • Sarah in Texas (Silver Pack): Streams on living room Fire TV, bedroom TV, her iPhone, husband’s Android tablet, and kid’s laptop — all at once on home Wi-Fi = 5 streams = covered.
  • Mike in Ontario (Platinum Pack): 8 TVs around the house + 2 phones = 10 streams during game night = no problem.
  • Family in Florida (Golden Lifetime): Everyone streams on their own devices (TVs, phones, laptops, even at different locations if needed) = unlimited = total freedom.

Bottom line: We designed the limits around real families and real usage — generous, straightforward, and way better than cable’s restrictions. Upgrade to Platinum or Golden if you need more power — it’s a one-time payment for lifetime peace of mind.
